Can you really be in two places at one time? The answer is yes if you use virtual worlds like Seocnd Life for meetings, training and conferences. This brief highlight video shows the session at AICPA Tech + which took place live in Vegas and Baltimore and on CPA Island in Second Life. One highlight was Second Life founder Philip Rosedale who “flew” in to address the three audiences. Other guests inlcuded two accounting educators, representatives from FEI, CMA Canada, IGAF International, Shapiro Negotiations Institute, AccountingWeb, PWC, and Tom Hood from the Maryland Association of CPAs and Byron Patrick of Hosted Solutions (and MACPA Board of Directors).
