Saying it was named "minecraft.exe" going to help since about a hundred thousand trojans that could have been renamed "minecraft.exe". going to have to run an antivirus program and attempt to clean up the infection. Boot your computer up into Safe Mode with Networking, and run an online scanner. Better yet, download and use either MalwareBytes Anti Malware or Super Anti Spyware. Between those two programs, you should be able to solve the problem.

And try to learn a lesson from this. If going to play in the realm of illegal game downloads, better take precautions or what your parents will do to you is the LEAST of your concerns.

assuming you mean for your Answers profile; they are talking about what is basically the internet address to put in browser in order to go to it. So to see your own URL, while looking at a question you have answered copy the URL for that question, that is in your browser (upper left). Then sign out of Yahoo!, and paste the URL back into your browser and enter. Now if you click on your avatar you will see your Answers profile with the URL for it in your browser.

Or you can just use this, but add at the beginning for it to work (I left that out so it would not become an abbreviated blue clickable hyperlink):

Malwarebytes – - is the best anti-spyware/malware scanner/remover I know of. Download Malwarebytes FREE (as you only need it to scan and clean otherwise the PRO version has real time scan but a PAID version). You can download the free version here: . I have used Malwarebytes at various client sites in the past and it has always been good a picking up nasties and removing them that antivirus software such as Symantec, Trend and NOD32 was unable to do.

Here what I would recommend you should do:

1. Download Malwarebytes from here:

2. your computer. When your computer up, after the BIOS/logo screen, press [F8] and choose "SAFE MODE with Networking" (*very Install Malwarebytes on your computer. Now update Malwarebytes.

3. Open Malwarebytes and do a **FULL SCAN** (very to do FULL SCAN) from Malwarebytes and wait for it to finish. This will take some time to complete so be patient.

4. Remove/delete all the nasties it has found then reboot your computer again in *SAFE MODE*.

5. Run a [FULL SCAN] again from Malwarebytes in case there are more nasties that show up the first time as generally deleting the first lot of nasties, it more nasties.

Now see how your computer behaves afterwards.

How to remove most Malware.
1.Go into Safe Mode with Networking.
a) Turn your on PC.
b) Right after the BIOS Splash Screen (Dell, HP, Acer, Gateway, etc logos) repeatedly hit F8 till the boot menu appears, if it shows Windows Loading then this means you went to far. You’ll have to try it again.
c) Then use your arrows on your keyboard to select “Safe Mode with Networking”
d) After you login to your user account it should ask you if you want to proceed to Safe Mode you will want to Click “Yes”

2.Download/ Run Rkill (this will kill any active malware running in memory). You might have to download all the software & their updates from other PC if you cannot connect to the internet. Just put them on a Flash drive.

3.Download/ Run TDDSkiller (this will remove many of the Rootkit.Win32.TDSS family) If this has found something, reboot the PC back into Safe Mode with Networking then run Hitman Pro. If TDDSkiller did not find anything go on and run Hitman Pro. When Hitman has finshed reboot back into Normal Mode. Both these scans take about 2-10mins each (depends on PC).

4. Download/Run Malwarebytes, SUPERAntiSpyware & Spybot run them after you have updated them. Make sure you update them if not they are USELESS. This may take many hours depending on the PC. If your PC can handle it run all scans at the same time. (Just don’t use your PC for it will be really slow)

5.After they have completed remove whatever they had found then the PC. You may want to run the scans again to assure everything has been removed.

6.Run some cleanup utilities such as Ccleaner and Cleanup. These programs will remove unwanted files such as temporary files, history, & cookies which also slow down a PC.

You should have a clean machine now!
